Exciting time in my young life

On December 2, 2007, I became engaged to my girlfriend of 4 years 2 months. Porposed in the morning around 9:30am. Nothing special as far as the way I did it... just old-fashioned I guess you could call it. So I'm very excited for our future and things to come.
Other than that we plan on getting a Samsung 1080p LCD 46" in the next day or two. Model is LNT4665F for those interested. Heard nothing but good things for the most part about it. Ready to finally put my Playstation 3 to the HD test. Pumped.
I'm at work right now, so I gotta actually do something. I'll try and write more later if I can think of anything.

Oh, the tv is cool. I have a 52 inch LCD from Panasonic. Love it. Rent Polar Express, yeah a kids' movie, dynamite in HD widescreen format. Crank up the surround sound and make some pop corn. Gotta go, she's getting closer. Seriously, congrats. It isn't that bad. Just remember, they make all of the rules.  |

Now might I suggest you view these regularly to see how marriage really goes. Hollywood has nailed it. | | Congrats on taking the vow's. Good for you. And an even bigger congrats on your pending HD adventures! I recently joined the club too. I don;t have Blu-Ray yet, I went with HD-DVD and the picture is amazing! I picked up Troy: Directors Cut and the picture is amazing. What is even more remarkable is I also picked up Grand Prix on HD-DVD, and for something that was filmed 40 years ago the picture is stunning.  Another piece of advice: get an HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player that will up-convert your standard definition DVD's. It's not quite HD quality... but it's not far off. Impressive stuff. | | I do believe the blu-ray player in the PS3 upconverts dvds to 1080p now(possibly through firmware update, could be mistaken. Oh well, I had lots of fun last night playing games. GT5: Prologue looked especially good. Gotta pop in Motorstorm and F1 tonight. Thanks for responding guys! |
